Meeting A Friend Along The Way

During Race Across America, Adam and I met up with Morgan Bearden. Morgan is a good friend whom we met during our 2006 cross country trip. We stayed with him when we visited Rolla, Missouri. Check it out in our blog's archives!

He traveled to Jefferson City, Missouri to say 'hi' as we sped past him. Unlike our '06 trip we did not have much time to talk because we were in a RACE, but it was great to see a friendly face to give us an extra boost!

He had just come from volunteering at a diabetes camp for kids. All the kids even made us a card, that they all signed, to help motivate us in our race!

We will be going out to visit Morgan during the Tour De Missouri '08 on Sept 11th. He is organizing a showing of our Documentary Movie at the finish of the Tour De Missouri race!
