Leaving Washington State

After eating a huge breakfast with Kim and Steve Sharp in Puget Island, WA, we took a ferry across the Columbia River to Oregon. We were sad to say good bye to our awesome hosts but we had to move on.

It was another rainy day but it was a nice easy 100 miles. We passed through Astoria, Oregon and we ended up in Tillamook. Tillamook is know for their amazing ice cream and cheese! We went to the Tillamook cheese factory and we got tons of free samples :)

We met Clayton Rees and we went back to his farm in Beaver, Oregon for a great dinner, conversation, showers, and a dry place to sleep. They had the coolest dog in the world!! We love Spike :)

We camped out in the Rees's barn. It was a great night for sleeping out side and seeing all the horses was fun!
