Pat's Post

2 man RAAM is really hard! Last year 4 man was a blast, but this is grueling.

Our support crew is totally unstoppable. I would be dead if not for them right now :) Stacey, Fabio, Weez, Ryan, Dave O'Brien, TheGoat... thank you!

We are almost out of Kansas.... wind was almost never at our backs. It is supposed to be 105 degrees in Missouri today. I love 105.

Make sure you guys eat the proper foods and hydrate. You are doing great, but must prepare for the hills of WV. Keep up the good work and enjoy the ride.

Simply awesome AFC!!! Gear up for the Appilacians and then it's the home stretch. Keep cool in that heat today- make sure to puts lots of spf on, because a sunburn is the last thing you need.

Riders and support crew are in our prayers always.

Hi guys!

Just spoke to Leonard (Kupenda Kenya director) and tried to have him listen in on your webcam. He says he's so excited about what you are doing and has told all the children about it. Maybe a few thoughts of them will help get you through ome of the grueling hours. You are both amazing and we are so grateful for you!

Love, Cindy
(Kupenda for the children founder/director)

I thought Merrill said 'Watch out for tomatoes' Please be careful. We can't wait to see you guys! We had a huge AFC turnout this morning for a ride with a friend who's battling cancer. It was great to see him back on his bike, and he's excited to start following the RAAM feed.

Next year (if you guys decide you want to participate) you need to have a second cam pointed in towards the crew. I am really enjoying this. Its very very inspiring to watch you guys in action! I hope you guys get the record....! If not, this has still been an amazing race.

PS. If Patt falls I'm going to think it was planned :c) (I laughed out loud at that comment)

Dear Passenger,
When Guns N Roses is on the radio, you turn it up, not down. I don't care if somebody is on the phone, turn it up!

You guys are doing awesome.
See you Friday night/Saturday morning

I'm blown away by your stamina! Adam--Jim Harrison is totally addicted to the webcam. He's sending us messages well into the night filling us in on the action. All your friends at CMS are following your progress and looking forward to seeing you and Pat cross the finish line. Stay safe! You guys ROCK!

All I can say is that you had better be ready for July 12th buster and not use up all of your energy in Kansas.

I find the webcam very disturbing -it is hard to watch your child suffer and hear it also. It was easier last year when all i had to do was cook!

Hey guys, Just finished my shift in the ER. I wish all our patients where as tough as you two. If they were, we wouldn't be so darn busy. You guys are inspirational and slightly driven. :-) Eat,drink, ride, eat drink and ride. Stay safe and enjoy the journey. Enjoying the live webcam ....Mom King
