Peter Ramdial and MamaD

This is PR and MamaD experience during RAAM. MamaD was an amazing mom/cook and PR had amazing driving skills along with great camera skills!

Peter Ramdial

PR did a lot of filming during the trip!

1) What was the most fun part of the trip for you?
The battle against the Brits. Seeing team AFC and United 8 go back in forth really pumped me up especially because team AFC came out on top. It was one of those things I love to watch as an athlete and hope to win when in the same situation. Adam and Pat sure have a lot of heart.

2) What was the hardest part of RAAM?The lack of sleep.

3) What was the easiest part for you?Driving in the leapfrog vehicle was pretty easy. The riders helped out a lot with things like what areas switch outs should be done in and due to the fact that the van stopped often, you could stretch and do whatever you needed to.

4) What was your most memorable experience of the trip?Again the battle against the Brits and also seeing the milky way at night in the middle of Kansas.

5) What was your favorite/least favorite food? The Sloppy Joe’s were my favorite ( though the papa john’s pizza was a close second) and the least favorite were the sandwiches.

6) Would you ever ride or crew again?I don’t think I would do crew again but I would not mind riding

7) Any suggestions or ideas to help make the trip run more smoothly next time around?
I think once we all got into our groves, the trip became very smooth. Also if there was no trailer, that would be nice as well.

MamaD(amazzzing mom)

1) What was the most fun part of the trip for you? Driving the RV on the way out to California

2) What was the hardest part of RAAM? Sleep deprivation

3) What was the easiest part for you? nothing

4) What was your most memorable experience of the trip? Talking with the Brits and seeing the riders go into Annapolis.

5) What was your favorite/least favorite food? Most of the time I did not eat. We had Mexican on the way out that was great.

MamaD making some amazing food.

6) Any suggestions or ideas to help make the trip run more smoothly next time around? Shifts should definitely be at least 6 hours. We got off on the wrong foot since they were short to begin with.

7) Any other comments/suggestions? Person who cooks should not go on the road.
